18- 26 February: Kotor Winter Carnival – Special occasion for a fun family holiday break

~ February 18th at 7 pm – Opening of the Carnival on Kotor ‘s main square.
~ February 19th at 3 pm – Kids’ Carnival at Shopping centre ‘Kamelija’
~ February 25th at 9 pm – Grand Costume Ball at Business Centre ‘Vuksic’
~ February 26th at 3 pm – Traditional Carnival Procession.

~ Family promenade in Tivat
Kids love running around in plain air, so take a stoll along the Tivat sea promenade and enjoy this livefull small town.

~ A walking tour in Kotor and Budva old towns.

~ Visit the Naval Heritage Collection Museum at Porto Montenegro
This large and spacious museum showcases old shipping equipment and artefacts, including models of the old ships and ancient documents. See inside ancient submarines and the diving equipment used. They also hold themed exhibitions. If the children become bored with the exhibitions there is a playground outside with a climbing frame in the shape of a pirate ship where the children can play while the parents wander further through the museum.

~ Winter Standup paddle boarding
It is suitable for people with different physical fitness and different age, including children. On Solila Beach, which is 10 minutes outside of Tivat, you can book a tour and paddle to the surrounding places like the Island of Flowers and the Island of St. Mark.

~ Visit The Maritime Museum of Montenegro, in Kotor
The museum dislays a very interesting collection of items dating back to the 16th century, paintings, weapons, Montenegrin Folk costumes, ceramics and much more.

~ Visit the Cats Museum in Kotor
Cats, cats and more cats! With a huge collection of historical cat images this museum is better than YouTube! Not only paintings, but old postcards, prints, lithographs, exercise books, stamps, coins and medals all dedicated to cats. They also hold events and exhibitions

~ Sailing and rowing activities
Sessions are available at the exclusive Porto Montenegro Yacht Club.

~ Boat tours
Enjoy the true Mediterranean panorama renting a boat or go for a organized boat tours ( price starting from 15 € per person / several options ).

~ Horseback riding
You can enjoy riding in equestrian centre in Mrčevo polje in Jaz (five kilometres from Budva) where there is a riding camp for children.
